Event Details: Teen/Adult Foundations: Introduction to Riding - Fall 2026 semester Location: 2191 Woodroffe Avenue. Saturdays, 12 Weeks. Starting September 19 and ending December 19. NO LESSON OCTOBER 10. This program is perfect for the rider who is new to the sport. Each class will be split to encompass both Horsemanship and Riding. Students will receive a manual and light homework each week to complete for the next class. Each week is progressive learning new skills, and building on the skills from the previous week to become independent in the foundations of riding and horsemanship.. This popular program is the perfect way to get started safely, while building a strong foundation, and having fun! Proper farm and riding attire is required for riders. This includes dressing for the weather, breeches or long stretchy pants, riding boot or a shoe/boot with a 1/2inch heel (such as bloodstones), a fitted riding helmet. Rubber boots are highly recommended during muddy season. No canvas shoes, heels, or sandals. Please do not bring treats for the horses, no dogs or smoking permitted.
