Event Details: Youth Introduction to Equine Vet School is a fun, hands-on 12-week program for ages 10–15, designed for young horse lovers who want to learn more about horse health, care, and the world of veterinary medicine! Throughout the program, participants will work around the horses while learning about the role of an equine veterinarian, how to safely approach and care for sick or injured horses, signs of illness and injury, basic bandaging, nutrition, preventative care, and much more. Activities are designed to be engaging, educational, and age-appropriate, giving participants the opportunity to develop practical knowledge while building confidence and responsibility around horses. Whether your child dreams of becoming a veterinarian one day or simply wants to understand horses on a deeper level, this program is a great opportunity to learn, explore, and get hands-on experience with these incredible animals. The program runs for 12 weeks on Tuesdays from September 22 through December 8. No makeup classes are available for missed sessions.
